June 2026 – Summer Reading Drive
Let’s get books for Lansdowne summer campers! AFA Agency (708 Pembroke Ave.) and CASSE (527 S. Wycombe Ave.) are dedicated to helping William Penn School District kids develop the skills they need to succeed in school and in life. We are collecting and purchasing new books for their campers to take home and enjoy with their families!

March 5, 2026 – Academy Park High School
At a staff member’s request, we dropped off 30 books today to Academy Park to be distributed to interested students. Happy reading!

February 26, 2026 – Rep. Joanna McClinton
Today we met staff members at Rep. Joanna McClinton’s office! We have provided books for her upcoming visits to Bell Avenue and Evans Elementary Schools in Yeadon. The students can choose books to take home.

February 18, 2026 – Wayne Cares
Delco Book Bank was grateful to join Wayne Cares this evening! We distributed children’s books and provided additional books for their clients to enjoy in the upcoming weeks.

February 18, 2026 – Kids Kampus
Donor families, organizations, and businesses make it possible for Delco Book Bank to provide books for local families who need them! We were pleased to visit Kids Kampus Daycare in Clifton Heights today to give them a book for each of their students to take home.

February 9, 2026 – Lifewerks
We were pleased to bring 122 books to Lifewerks in Wallingford this afternoon and to meet their volunteers. They will distribute the books to their clients. It’s lovely to meet more of the people who make Delco great!

February 7, 2026 – Delco Helping Hands
Making new friends at Delco Helping Hands this evening! We brought them 140 books to pass along to their clients. It’s wonderful to see families helping families!

January 22, 2026 – Building Blocks for Tots
Delco Book Bank was pleased to provide books to Building Blocks for Tots in Drexel Hill! Their students can take the books home to read with their families.

January 19, 2026 – MLK Day of Service with Grands Stepping Up
Delco Book Bank was honored to join Grands Stepping Up for their MLK Day distribution. We were glad to be able to provide books to our neighbors!

We are so happy to meet people doing great things in Delco!
We delivered 124 books today to AFA Agency in East Lansdowne so that the kids they serve can enjoy them with their families. Stay tuned–we are working on a partnership for helping kids keep reading this summer!

Holiday Book Drive 2025 has been a success! With the help of local families and businesses, Delco Book Bank has brought 571 books in five languages to Murphy’s Giving Market. Books have been distributed to families for the holidays!
